Vue d'ensemble

My imagination takes almost all the energy I get from my daily cups of coffee. Seriously, it’s unstoppable.

And you know what? I don’t even want it to stop.

You see, I’ve always been in love with freshly new papers. Yes, the smell is amazing, indeed, I’m glad you think so too! What I love the most about a new paper, though, is the possibilities.

I like to grab a pen on the go and write ideas for my potential next contest-winning story. Only have a pencil? Terrific! I can start designing an outfit, or a character, or whatever runs in my imagination at that particular moment. I like to go crazy with art, as I tend to do with everything I love doing, I am E X T R A.

What else I love to do? Throw in some colors & see them create magic. Whatever the medium is, be it watercolors, gouache, acrylic, oil, colored pencils, wax… Everything is powerful when you have freshly cooked ideas ready to be served in a blank space.

I also love exploring the human mind; how it functions, what makes people do what they do, how people tick with certain personality types & not some others, what makes people who they are today. I loved everything about the English courses I took for my BA degree, but I used to enjoy psycho-linguistics & socio-linguistics a lot more than the rest of the courses. It was (still is) fascinating to me how the human brain learns languages, & how the mother tongue influences the acquisition of the 2nd language; hence my graduation project.

I have a passion for listening to people, not to suggest solutions right away, but to understand them & empathize with them. Then if they ask for it, I like to help them see where the problem stems from, & let them do the magic. I’ve chosen many job positions where I do customer support, just so I could satisfy my hunger for psychology, & to be there for people & feel their energy shift to a happy positive one than the one they were in prior to our conversation.

The perfect job for me? An opportunity where I could put my imagination & listening skills into use. I hate to be treated like a robot with no opinion, nor room to improvise & be appreciated for it. I’d love to be in a job where I can meet a lot of people, from different backgrounds, & very different mindsets. I’d also love to do art, any form of art! I’d do art for free for the rest of my life if I could, & I would do it with a wide smile!
